Primary Parotid Angiosarcoma in a 66-year-old Man First Presented as Neck Lymph Node Metastasis: Pitfall Diagnosis with Review of Literature

Angiosarcoma is a malignant vascular tumor that occurs mostly in the soft tissues, skin, trunk, and limbs. of parotid gland very uncommon rare tumor.Herein, we presented case 66-year-old man who was referred for lump his neck initial biopsy reported Castleman disease. After three months during which mass did not resolve, re-biopsy performed. The revealed neoplasm composed neoplastic spindle cells arranged fascicles with red blood between them lymph node. This metastatic angiosarcoma confirmed by immunohistochemical staining. Neoplastic were positive vimentin, EMA, CD31. patient underwent radiation therapy. Nine later, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) showed gland. microscopic examination primary parotid.Although rare, it should be considered as possible origin neck.
